Skincare
Can I try your products beforehand?
Yes, all our serums are also available in 2 ml sizes in our shop. The mini sizes are sufficient for approx. 10-12 applications, so you can test the serums at your leisure over a longer period.
Is ruhi Skincare cruelty-free?
Yes, our products are never tested on animals and are also 100% vegan.
Is Ruhi Skincare certified organic or natural cosmetics?
We have thoroughly examined common organic seals for natural cosmetics like NATRUE Organic or COSMOS Organic, but have consciously decided to declare the percentage of organic and natural content in our new products according to ISO 16128.
ISO 16128 is an international standard that provides clear guidelines for defining natural, biological, and organic ingredients, as well as their proportion in cosmetic products.
It was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to enable a globally uniform and standardized evaluation of such products.
The percentage of organic content according to ISO 16128 offers end consumers a transparent and easily understandable basis, as it numerically indicates the exact proportion of natural and organic ingredients in a product.
In contrast, standards such as COSMOS ORGANIC or NATRUE Organic often use complex criteria and label categories that are less tangible for consumers (and for us as well).
For example, with COSMOS ORGANIC, only at least 20% of the total product needs to be organic to receive the seal – whereas the organic content in most of our products is well over 80%.
In our view, ISO 16128 therefore enables clear, standardized, and internationally recognized labeling that facilitates product comparison.
We find this more transparent, as consumers can make their purchasing decisions based on concrete figures without having to navigate the sometimes differing regulations of individual certifications.
Is ruhi Skincare organic?
Our plant-based oils and extracts are organically grown wherever possible, otherwise they are wild-harvested – as is the case with bakuchiol, which is exclusively obtained from the wild-growing Indian plant Psoralea corylifolia. Currently, most products have an organic content of over 80%. You can find the exact organic content of our serums on the respective product page.
I have very sensitive skin, can I use your products?
Yes, our serums are ideal for sensitive skin. They are free from drying alcohols, synthetic preservatives and fragrances, essential oils (in facial care), or other potentially skin-irritating ingredients. Furthermore, our ingredients are proven to promote a strong skin barrier.
OUR TIP: We generally recommend testing a new skincare product on a small area of skin before integrating it into your skincare routine. This way, you can easily rule out an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients.
In what order do I apply the skincare products?
As a rule of thumb for your skincare routine: from light to heavy, or from watery to oily. This way, water-based products can optimally moisturize the skin, while subsequent facial oils lock in moisture, thereby optimizing the skin's moisture balance.
Therefore, use our skincare products in the following order:
STEP 1: The Adaptogen Toner Serum // watery-liquid consistency
STEP 2: The Probiotic Hyaluronic Serum // viscous, gel-like and water-based consistency
STEP 3: The Adaptogen Vitamin C Oil Serum OR The Bakuchiol Oil Serum // light oil
Where are ruhi products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured according to our own innovative formulations in close cooperation with a leading natural cosmetics laboratory in Germany, adhering to the highest technical and hygienic standards. They undergo all safety tests required for the EU market and comply with the strict requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation.
How long are the products good for?
Once opened, our serums last for at least 6 months. After this time, the effectiveness of the active ingredients may slowly decrease. The serums should be protected from direct sunlight and stored below 25 degrees Celsius.
What does your "holistic formulation approach" mean?
With ruhi Skincare, we pursue a holistic formulation approach. Our serums always address the most important skin needs: they nourish and moisturize the skin, protect it from harmful environmental influences, regenerate it, and restore its healthy balance. This makes layering many products unnecessary – each serum also works on its own. At the same time, our formulations are as minimalist as possible and gentle on the skin.
Why is ruhi Skincare Microbiome-Friendly?
A balanced skin microbiome and a strong skin barrier are the prerequisites for healthy and beautiful skin.
Our products contain microbiome-strengthening ingredients, such as our sugarcane-derived squalane, which was recently certified as microbiome-friendly, or our innovative probiotic active ingredient, which achieved up to 77% improvement in the skin's natural protective function in clinical studies.
At the same time, our products are free from alcohol, synthetic preservatives and fragrances, essential oils, and other potentially skin-irritating ingredients that can disrupt the microbiome's balance.
What are adaptogens?
Adaptogens are biologically active plant compounds that help the body adapt to stressful situations. These active plant compounds have been used for millennia in Ayurveda and TCM, but only now has science recognized their fantastic effects in skincare. For example, we use Gotu Kola, which protects the skin from inflammation and simultaneously from blue light.
How sustainable is ruhi Skincare?
Ingredients
We select our ingredients not only for their high efficacy but also based on specific sustainability criteria. For example, our squalane, which is the main ingredient in our oil serums, is derived from sustainably grown sugarcane. Our plum kernel oil and pomegranate seed oil are by-products of juice production, thus saving resources. Furthermore, most of our ingredients are organically certified – organic farming is generally the most sustainable form of agriculture.
Packaging
We use almost plastic-free packaging consisting of a 100% recyclable glass bottle and droppers with an aluminum ring and silicone cap (only a small plastic element is inside the dropper). Our packaging box is made from 100% biodegradable, FSC-certified natural cardboard and printed with environmentally friendly inks.
Social Aspects
Our products are assembled in a Berlin workshop for people with disabilities.
How is the price of your products determined?
1. State-of-the-art active ingredients in effective concentrations
We rely on innovative natural cosmetic ingredients with clinically proven efficacy. These novel active ingredients are very expensive and, if used at all in the industry, are usually only used in small quantities.
In contrast, we always use the effective concentration recommended by current studies. While this significantly increases our manufacturing costs, it guarantees the desired effect and a noticeable skincare benefit.
2. Highest quality ingredients – anhydrous formulation
Our skincare products consist exclusively of high-quality, natural raw materials:
- organically certified or from sustainable wild harvesting,
- bio-based squalane from sugarcane,
- gently cold-pressed active ingredient oils.
We deliberately avoid cheap filler oils such as Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride or sunflower oil.
Instead of water, we use valuable organic direct juice from aloe vera. Only minimal amounts of water are contained in some products – where plant extracts are dissolved in water.
3. Our own complex developments
Each of our products is an innovative in-house development. Together with our experienced natural cosmetics laboratory, we work for many months on the optimal formulation. This process is complex and expensive, but it clearly distinguishes us from brands that rely on readily available standard formulations. Our philosophy: Only through in-house developments can we implement the innovative formulations that meet our high standards.
What is your "feel-good guarantee"?

Where are your brushes manufactured?
All our brushes are sustainably manufactured for us in Germany by a family-run workshop.
Are your brushes certified?
Yes, for our brushes we use regional FSC®-certified beech wood* from responsibly managed forests.

Are your brushes vegan?
Most of our brushes are not vegan. If you prefer a vegan brush, we offer two vegan options:

How are the brushes cleaned?
After each use, tap your brush on a hard, flat surface to remove dead skin cells. The brushes should not be cleaned with water, as water can damage the wooden body.
My brush is losing bristles, is that normal?
It is perfectly normal for the brush to lose individual bristles during the first 3-5 uses. This usually stops on its own after a short time. If the brush loses a noticeable number of bristles over a longer period, please send an email to hello@ruhi-rituals.com.
My copper brush has turned dark, can I still use it?
The good news: the oxidation of copper is a completely normal chemical process and is purely cosmetic. Furthermore, the discoloration in no way negatively affects the ionising effect. So you can continue to use your brush as usual.
Copper oxidation cannot always be avoided – not even if you don't get the brush wet. A little moisture is always present on the skin.

How can I redeem my voucher code?
You can redeem your voucher code during the order process in your shopping cart overview directly at checkout. To do this, enter the code you received by email upon registration in the "Discount Code" field. The 10% discount should then be automatically applied to your total.
My voucher code isn't working, what can I do?
Please make sure you have entered the voucher code correctly. Please also note that the voucher code is only valid once per customer.

How do I write a product review?
To do this, go to the respective product page of the product you would like to review. Scroll all the way down the product page until you reach "Customer Reviews." On the right side, you will find the orange button "Write a Review." Click on the button and write your review.
IMPORTANT: Once you have written your review, we will send you a confirmation email. Please verify your review by clicking on the button in the confirmation email. As a thank you for your review, you will receive a 10% discount code from us.
Will my full name be publicly displayed in the review?
You can choose how your name is displayed in the review. You can select the options in the "Name" field.
Did you accidentally give an inaccurate star rating?
Have you accidentally submitted an inaccurate star rating and would like to correct it? Please log in to the Judge.me review platform here using the email address you used.
Next, you will receive an email containing a "magic link" that will give you direct access to your review profile. In your review profile, you can go to your review and edit it.

What payment methods are available?
We currently offer the following payment options:

Where is my order?
Once you have placed an order with us and your products are on their way to you, you will receive a shipping confirmation from us by email. In this shipping confirmation, you can view your tracking number and follow the journey of your package. Please note that it can sometimes take a while for the tracking to become active.
How can I change or cancel my order?
Would you like to change or cancel your order retrospectively? This is not a problem as long as your order is still being processed by us. Please send us an email as soon as possible to hello@ruhi-rituals.com or use our contact form. If your products have already been shipped, it is unfortunately no longer possible to make any subsequent changes.
Can I have my order gift-wrapped?
We do not currently offer this option.
Delivery & Shipping
How much does shipping cost within Germany?
For shipping within Germany, we charge a flat rate of €3.95 per order. For orders over €60.00, shipping is free.
How much does shipping within the EU cost?
For shipping within the EU, we charge a flat rate of €12.95 per order. For orders over €150.00, shipping is free.
For shipping to Switzerland, we charge a flat rate of €19.95 per order. Please note that all applicable customs duties in Switzerland are to be borne by you. For orders over €200.00, shipping to Switzerland is free.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
After receipt of your order, we have an average delivery time of 3 - 5 days within Germany. Within Europe, our average delivery time is approximately 7 - 10 days.
How do I change my delivery address?
Have you already placed your order and would like to change your delivery address afterwards? As long as your order is still being processed by us, this is not a problem.
Send us your new delivery address using the contact form or by email to hello@ruhi-rituals.com. If we have already shipped your order, we ask for your understanding that we will have to charge you for the new shipping costs incurred.
How will my order be shipped?
We ship your beauty package climate-neutrally and sustainably via DHL Go Green.
Our packaging material is 100% recyclable: for filling material, we use environmentally friendly paper packaging chips. Our shipping packages are made of environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable cardboard. For our parcels, we use 100% paper tape with natural rubber adhesive. This way, you can conveniently dispose of the box, including the tape and filling material, in the waste paper bin.
How can I have a parcel delivered to a packing station?

Returns
How can I return a product?
We want you to be happy with our products. That's why we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee: If you are not satisfied with a product or it is incompatible, you can return it within 30 days.
Please note: The guarantee applies once per product per customer. This way, we can ensure that all customers have the chance to try our products risk-free. Mini or travel sizes are excluded. Empty or excessively used products cannot be returned by us.
