Bakuchiol has been shown to stimulate collagen production, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and improve the texture and firmness of the skin.

It is obtained from the Indian Babchi plant and has long been used in Ayurveda and in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Bio-based squalane sustainably sourced from sugarcane is the ideal basis of our serum. It provides the skin with intensive moisture and essential fatty acids while making it ultra-soft and dewy. Our squalane is a certified organic ingredient and supports a healthy microbiome. Squalane oil is light, non-greasy and absorbs quickly.

POMEGRANATE SEED OIL (ORGANIC)

Exquisite, cold-pressed organic pomegranate oil stimulates cell renewal, balances natural oil production and has a strong antioxidant effect. It is particularly rich in punicic acid, a rare, unsaturated fatty acid that has exceptionally high antioxidant properties. The red fruit has played an important role in Persian beauty rituals for many centuries.

Turmeric extract prevents inflammation and soothes the skin. Turmeric is one of the most important medicinal plants in Ayurveda.

CONSISTENCY

Light, non-greasy oil.

FRAGRANCE 

The oil serum is free from essential oils or other fragrances and smells only of itself:
When applied, it has a pleasant sweet and nutty scent of cold-pressed pomegranate seed oil. (Squalane, the extracts used, and vitamin E are odorless). The scent quickly dissipates after application.

This is a 100% natural product without added fragrances or colorants. Therefore, the scent, color, and consistency may be subject to slight variations.

INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED

Bakuchiol Oil Serum can be used in the morning and/or evening.

1. Cleanse your skin thoroughly.
2. Moisten your skin with water or a mild toner (such as our Adaptogen Toner Serum). The oil serum should always be applied to slightly damp skin, as this allows it to be absorbed best and locks in moisture. 
3. Now apply 3–4 drops of the oil serum to your damp skin.
4. Gently massage in the oil serum. It will be fully absorbed after just a few minutes. Enjoy your silky-soft and radiant skin!

Unlike retinol, our facial oil does not make the skin light-sensitive. However, we still recommend using sunscreen as usual during the day. 

APPLICATION TIPS

Our oil serum is perfect as a basic facial oil for Gua Sha or facial cupping massage. It is also ideal for gentle after-treatment after face brushing.  

You can also use the Bakuchiol Oil Serum as an active ingredient booster. Simply add a few drops of the oil serum to your favorite skincare product.

NOTE

During pregnancy or breastfeeding, please consult your doctor individually to determine whether bakuchiol-containing skincare can be used.
